Melissa
Melissa has loved singing from a very young age. She learned to play piano and got involved with many productions throughout her school years.

That passion for music and performance enabled an ability to arrange and organise more intimate performances, such as weddings, backup vocals, private functions and pub gigs.

Getting involved in talent contests and events throughout Perth led her to getting a job in a karaoke bar. This connection introduced her to many artists which assisted in broadening her music ability. A love for travel took her around the world coming home to Perth she took her music to the next level in a high performance band, RETRO Inc!

Adding a second strong rock vocal created the dynamic the band was looking for. Here Melissa extended her passion, fun loving and energetic attitude to the band for over twelve years.

The Influence of artists such as Anastasia, Screaming Jets, Bon Jovi and Pink, rock music is her thing, six foot blonde, hard to miss - look out for rockin' Mel.

Vaughan
Vaughan has been playing guitar since his early teens, from playing along to tape recordings of Countdown to learn all the classic Oz rock songs and international acts, to gigging in Perth in the late 80s with the band No Particular Hairstyle.

After taking an extended break to live and work in London with his wife while seeing the world, he returned to Perth to start a family and now have two fantastic children that are as much into music as he is and both being talented musicians and instrumentalists as well being heavily influenced by all forms of music from 50s through to modern. Whether it’s rock, soul, metal, jazz, classical or blues
In the last several years,

Vaughan had a renewed desire to get back into gigging and RETRO Inc was the outlet. He needed to strut his stuff and rock out to the classics he’d had grown up with and also an opportunity to appreciate and perform more contemporary music. Vaughan believes there’s nothing like the vibe of performing to a packed dance floor and there’s no place he would rather be than on stage wielding his axe and tearing it up with the band. See you on the dance floor!
